Limits and troubleshooting
What the studio does not do yet, and what to do when a post, a render or a channel edit is refused
Not available yet
- Sound: videos are silent. Voiceover, music and captions are planned.
- Still images from templates: a render gives an MP4 and its poster; posts and covers as PNGs are planned.
- One post, many networks: each post is for one channel.
- Covers on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn posts: stored with the post but not applied yet. YouTube thumbnails are applied.
- Per-channel posting settings (category, tags, playlist, first comment, posting times) are not in the studio yet.
- Profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn cannot be edited by apps. See Channels.
Troubleshooting
| You see | Do this |
|---|---|
| "No file library for this org" | Connect storage in the Console, or ask Staff to run media.profile.setup |
| "Choose who approves posts first" | Set a reviewer in Review settings |
| A render refused: "This organization has used its 30 video renders…" | Wait for the reset date shown in the Render tab, or ask for a higher allowance |
| A render refused: "renders are already running" or "The render service is busy" | Start it again when one finishes |
| "Save a version first" in the Render tab | Renders use saved versions; save, then render |
| A scene says "Pick an image" or "Pick a video" | Choose the file in the scene, or fill its slot on the Content tab |
| "the file is not in the organization's media bucket" | Use a file from Files; files from other buckets cannot be rendered |
| YouTube refuses a banner | Use JPEG or PNG, 2048×1152 or larger, under 6 MB |
| A post "did not go out" | Read the reason on the post, fix it and Try again |
