Render videos
TL;DR
- In the editor's Render tab pick a size (4:5, 9:16, 16:9) and a look (dark, light) and click Render. Renders use the last saved version and the words on the Content tab.
- It takes a few minutes. You can keep editing. The MP4 and a poster land in Files and wait for review in the inbox.
- Each organization has a monthly allowance, shown above the Render button.
What a render does
check the template, your words and your brand kit (refused here when something is wrong)
check your monthly allowance
sign upload and download links in your bucket
render in a sealed job (no network while rendering; files are downloaded first)
save the MP4 and poster to Files, send the video to review
The same rules run in the editor's preview and in the render, so what you saw is what you get. The workflow is video.render.video; video.render.validate checks a production without rendering.
Sizes and time
| Size | Pixels | For |
|---|---|---|
| Feed 4:5 | 1080×1350 | Instagram and Facebook feed |
| Story 9:16 | 1080×1920 | Shorts, Reels, stories |
| Wide 16:9 | 1920×1080 | YouTube, LinkedIn, websites |
A 25-second video usually takes 1 to 4 minutes. The time limit grows with the video's length, from 15 minutes up to an hour.
Monthly usage
| Limit | Default |
|---|---|
| Renders per organization per month | 30 (finished and running renders count; failed ones do not) |
| Renders running at once per organization | 2 |
| Renders running at once on the platform | 4 |
The Render tab shows "N of 30 renders used this month" and when it resets. When the month is used up the button turns off, and a render started anyway is refused before anything runs (data.video.render.usage).
After the render
- Finished renders in the Render tab play the MP4, show its review state and let you download it.
- The video is in Files, ready for New post.
- Videos are silent for now: voiceover and music are not available yet.
Video templates
Build videos from scenes in a full-screen editor with a live preview. Titles, text, lists, big numbers, quotes, photos, clips, chats and end cards; slots people fill per video; versions you can go back to
Templates as code
Keep video templates in a repository, review them in pull requests and load them into your organization from CI with plan and apply
