Set up the studio

Connect your social networks, your Files bucket and a reviewer so the studio can post. Then add a brand kit for your videos

TL;DR

  1. Accounts: connect YouTube, Meta (Instagram & Facebook) and LinkedIn once.
  2. Files: the studio stores videos and photos in your organization's media bucket.
  3. Review settings: choose who approves posts. Without a reviewer nothing can be sent.
  4. Brand kit: set your name, colour and logo so videos carry your brand, not Orkestia's.

1. Connect your accounts

Open Setup → Accounts and connect each network. You sign in with the network itself and choose what Orkestia may do.

NetworkYou connectThen you pick
YouTubeA Google accountThe channel, by name
Instagram & FacebookA Meta accountThe Facebook Page and its Instagram professional account
LinkedInA LinkedIn accountYourself or a company page

After that, people only see channel names. Connection ids stay behind the scenes. Under the hood this is connection.oauth-start and the platform's data.*.identity.list reads.

2. Files

Library → Files is where videos and photos live. Files are stored in your organization's media bucket: a storage connection with a bucket, or the default media profile (media.profile.setup). If the page says there is no file library, connect storage in the Console first, or ask Staff to run media.profile.setup.

Rendered videos and their posters land in the same bucket, so everything you make is ready to post.

3. Choose who approves

Open Setup → Review settings and pick the reviewer: someone on the account or a Staff agent. New posts go to them for a yes. Until a reviewer is set, the studio will not send anything for review (publisher.org_settings.upsert).

4. Add your brand kit

Open Video → Brand kit. Set:

FieldUsed for
Brand nameThe name in the corner and on the end card
Accent colourButtons, highlights and the glow behind the video
Logo markAn SVG up to 64 KiB. Scripts and outside links are refused
Demo badge textShown on videos with made-up names or numbers
Allowed linksThe only links a video's call to action may use. Empty allows any link

The preview on the right shows your kit on a real template. Until you save one, videos use the Orkestia look. Every render records which brand kit version it used (video.brand-kit.save, data.video.brand-kit.get).
